A Change of Destiny

 



     It was hard not to notice her.   The mysterious red head with the stunning green eyes.   Her beauty was ethereal.   We spent a weekend together.  One weekend turned into a week.  A week into a month. A month into several...

     And as always, things were enthusiastic.  Biting, clawing, scratching.  I don't think it even dawned on me at the time, though on some deeper level I knew.  Just as I knew it wasn't intentional, I know that as surely as I know the sun will rise.

     She never meant for it to be a permanent thing.   She was filled with remorse, but she also taught me everything I needed to know, how to survive in this new... state of being.   I'm not sure to this day if she realizes the hell she's unleashed...
